ABOUT
Based in Los Angeles, I work across photojournalism, portraiture, red carpet coverage, and fashion photography, always with a focus on capturing real, human moments. From documenting protests and wildfires to filming interviews and producing video stories for Voice of America, I approach every assignment with the same goal: to tell the truth with clarity and empathy.
My journey began in Iran, where photographing protests led to my expulsion from university. That experience shaped how I see this work, not just as photography, but as a form of resistance and connection. Since relocating to the U.S., I’ve continued documenting stories that matter, both on the frontlines and in more intimate settings.
My work has been published in TIME, Getty Images, BuzzFeed, NPR, Bloomberg, Yahoo News, MSN, LAist, Die Zeit, and other international outlets. I’ve covered red carpet events, collaborated with fashion brands, and produced editorial portraits with the same care I bring to breaking news.
I hold official press credentials from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and regularly work with editorial and commercial clients throughout California and beyond. Whether I’m photographing a protest or a portrait, my goal is simple: to make images that feel grounded, emotional, and true.
